The all-new voice controlled smart speaker by Sonos is one of our favorite gift ideas for 2018. With Alexa built it, you can not only play music, but also check news and traffic and control other smart devices. If the person you’re shopping for already has a smart speaker, or might not use it to its full potential, consider Sonos PLAY:1, their smart speaker made for playing music.

Text: This Christmas gift preserves your favorite coloring pages, and it’s way cuter than just hanging them on the fridge. Just trace the outline of a wooden letter on the back of your coloring page, cut it out, and decoupage the design to the letter’s front. No matter the gift recipient, these handmade letters make a timeless DIY Christmas gift that your best friends will love. Download our FREE coloring pages to get started.
This is exact what I was looking for. The rose itself is perhaps 90% of the size of a real one, although the stem is shorter. The pot at the bottom is about the same size as the rose at the top. The rose part of this item appears to be solid steel (based on the weight and inflexibility of the material), not a rose dipped in something. The rose is completely unpainted. I'm not a flower person, but it looks like a rose to me (and it made my wife happy). It was exactly what I was looking for. Well mostly. It took a pair of pliers to remove the little plastic tag that they stick in the pot that says "11th anniversary". I got this for Mothers day (after our 16th anniversary last month), so the tag had to ... full review
Budget ahead of time, order ahead of time and expect delivery delays. We would also like to add that if you’re in a highly-populated area, you’re going to be a prime target for box theft during the holiday season. It’s an unfortunate truth, but this is where planning ahead of time just saved your skin. If the delivery date doesn’t matter, you can ensure that you’ll be home for it without stressing for time. You hear a knock at the door, hop to, and boom: the package is safely inside.
Maddie is APW's Chief Revenue Officer. She's been writing stories about boys, crushes, and relationships since she was old enough to form shapes into words, but received her formal training (and a BS) from NYU in Entertainment and Mass Media in 2008. She now spends a significant amount of time thinking about trends on the internet and whether flower crowns will be out next year. A Maine native, she currently lives on a pony farm in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband Michael, their son Lincoln, and an obnoxious mastiff named Gaia. Current hair color: Natural (gasp!)
In the mood to gift something majorly luxe? Put a fancy set of playing cards (perfect for at-home date night!) or a gorgeous Gray Malin triptych on your radar. If you're searching for an experience as opposed to a thing, scan the web for a local calligraphy workshop that'll help them turn handwritten paper notes into little pieces of art. Click through to see the entire gift list that'll help you honor one whole year of married bliss.
Most women will hint about things when it gets close to their birthday or a holiday. The hint may not always be about a specific item, but may also indicate how she is feeling or how much she feels comfortable about you spending. No matter what she is saying- listen! It’ll make gift shopping easier and ensures you’re getting her something she wants.
Balance Life With Beer – Beer tasting isn’t just for social gatherings or feeling superior amongst peers, it’s a wellness practice akin to meditation… more or eating pizza. Intensely appreciating the hoppy and bitter tastes with the Beer Tasting Flight makes the grass seem that much greener and the supermarket lights seem that much more fluorescent. less

This DIY Christmas present revitalizes your favorite memories in a display to frame family and friends. Start with a photo that's cut to fit a glass bottle. Coat the front of the photo with glass decoupage using a foam paint brush. Press the photo face-down onto the outside surface of a bottle, smooth out air bubbles, and let the decoupage dry. Repeat this process on several bottles to create a sprawling display. Write cute Christmas notes and suspend them from a few of the bottle cork toppers using gold wires. This gift is perfect for memorializing old family Christmas photos for years to come — just add a new one each year.
Corporate Casual - A straightforward way to wrap a corporate casual gift, say at an office party or outing to a co-worker’s birthday after work, is to grab an inexpensive belt from your nearest store and wrap it around their present. It’s low maintenance, and while it allows them to see what the present is, it’s a corporate-friendly way to go about it and get a quick smile from the guy in question.
"Overall, this gift was so cool! My siblings and I decided to order one of these man crates for our… more dad for fathers day. He absolutely loved it, thought the whole idea was awesome. The only reason I'm not giving this box 5 stars is because when my dad opened the package the box wasn't securely tight at the bottom and he just opened it with his hands and wasn't able to get the full effect. I will definitely be trying these boxes again closer to the holidays!" - Alicyn less
November brings us one legendary sale, but before then, it’s all about Veterans Day sales to seriously stock up on housewarming gifts, home appliances, and small electronics. This is one of the more minor sales when it comes to gift-giving, but still a noticeable blip on the radar. If he’s a bit culinary guy, you can grab him something along the lines of a new countertop appliance, or take a look at the selection of grills. If he’s in a more snowy environment, it’s a good time to grab one of these for later and gift it during the summer months.
