Corporate Casual - A straightforward way to wrap a corporate casual gift, say at an office party or outing to a co-worker’s birthday after work, is to grab an inexpensive belt from your nearest store and wrap it around their present. It’s low maintenance, and while it allows them to see what the present is, it’s a corporate-friendly way to go about it and get a quick smile from the guy in question.
The world may be going digital, but Montblanc is preserving the art of handwriting with a newly released product called Augmented Paper. The kit comes with a StarWalker Ballpoint Pen and a leather envelope holding a digital notebook that translates handwritten notes into digital text on a mobile device. One button transmits the notes to a smartphone or tablet using Bluetooth. So you can start a project in the notebook, return to it on your iPhone, and then shoot it off to your colleagues in an e-mail.
These slippers have a 5-star rating on Nordstrom from over 3,000 reviews! The Dakota slipper has been around for years, combining fashion and comfort into one. You can even wear the shoe outside, as it has a rubber sole. Speaking from experience, you can’t go wrong with UGG slippers as a gift. In the past six years, I have given a different pair of UGG slippers to my mom, grandmother, grandfather, fiancé, and brothers – and each time, they were a hit.

One of the easiest ways to keep a relationship fresh is to explore new things together, and cooking is a fun one to play with since you can do it together in the comfort of your own home, and then enjoy the delicious results (or have a new story of a cooking disaster to share!). This kit is clever: Your challenge is to roll the dice, each of which has a different food group or kind of ingredient on it (like cooking methods, grains, veggies, herbs and proteins), then try to concoct a dinner using the ingredients you rolled. Being creative together and problem-solving to build a meal will surely bring you closer together, especially if you don’t take it to seriously — and solve the problem with a glass of wine in hand.

Cute Christmas gift ideas that are customizable always win, and that's why we love these homemade Christmas coasters for family and friends. Print silhouette clip art onto heavy white paper and cut out the shapes. Use a pencil to lightly trace each silhouette onto the center of a wooden plaque. Trace over the pencil lines using a wood-burning pen fitted with a narrow cone point. Fill in the outlines by burning the silhouettes with a flow point on a wood-burning pen. Apply two coats of glossy polyurethane sealer to the coasters, letting each coaster dry between coats. Paint the beveled edges of the coasters gray, and let the paint dry before adding a final coat of polyurethane sealer. Glue four felt circles to the bottom of each coaster.

Brighten a plain notebook or journal with colorful embroidery floss for a thoughtful Christmas gift. Sketch a design on a piece of paper; secure the sketch to the notebook cover using masking tape, making sure to wrap the tape around to the inside of the cover to keep the design from moving. Place the front cover on a cutting mat and pierce using a large needle or paper piercer, making sure the holes are evenly spaced. If you're using a circular design, bring the holes a little closer together when approaching a curve to get smooth lines. Remove the pattern from the cover and stitch using four strands of embroidery floss; knot on the inside of the cover to finish the special Christmas gift.
To overcome the common problem people faced as to what to give one’s spouse each year, an American author by the name of Emily Post, who wrote on the topic of etiquette, was the first to recommend a list of anniversary gift themes which was published in 1922 in her book titled 'Etiquette’. In that book, she listed suggestions for the first anniversary, followed by the fifth anniversary, and then every five years or so up until the 25th, and concluded with the 50th wedding anniversary. The American National Retail Jeweler Association expanded on this list in 1937 by filling in the missing years up to the 14th wedding anniversary, and the subsequent multiples of five up to the 50th year.
This Round’s on Me - Going out for a drink is the age-old expression of downtime, and telling someone that you want to spend a good few minutes with them, while also treating them to something. These are a great impromptu way to help them take a load off while being able to enjoy some quality time with them yourself. You can also save a bit of money here, so long as you don’t get them blackout drunk, you know?
Durable board books for infants personalized with the baby's name and photo make adorable keepsakes, while older adopted children will love seeing their name and photo in print in beautifully illustrated storybooks. For children who just became big brothers and sisters, personalized storybooks remind them they're still loved, and that a new sibling can be fun.
A more modern four-year-anniversary gift tradition is to choose an appliance, and that makes sense: Maybe when you registered for gifts, you were afraid of asking for too much, or didn’t know what you would use, or had a vision for what kind of married people you’d be that may not have actually panned out. That’s fine, not all of us are meant to live on homemade veggie juice!
This is the guy who doesn’t just maintain his facial hair; he styles it, he has precise tools and instruments that each serve a specific purpose. He’s much more prone to buy sunglasses online, rather than looking at the CVS rack and randomly selecting the blackest pair. If he owns more than one pair of shoes, he’s likely to fit on this list. A gentleman with style understands how to make an outfit work, because while clothes don’t make the man, they do play a vital role in one fundamental part of their lives: first impressions. He pays attention to body grooming and smelling good (men's cologne) a lot more, as well. From face moisturizers down to beard trimmers (if he’s into that sort of thing), and so on. It’s not just enough to shower, shave, and hop into clean clothes; every piece of their attire serves a purpose.
Christmas gifts are specially selected presents that are given to loved ones during the holiday season in western cultures. Personalized gifts, unique presents, gift baskets, handmade items and the like are wrapped in festive paper and placed under decorated Christmas trees or presented at gift exchanges all over the world to celebrate the Christmas holiday. In the United States and some other countries, these gifts are typically opened on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day (December 25th). Christmas gifts are a reminder of the gifts given to the Christ child by the three Magi. A highly commercialized practice in the U.S., approximately 86% of Americans buy Christmas presents for their family members and friends.
