I thought I hated jeans until I discovered Madewell’s high-rise jeans. They’re comfortable, they’re slimming, they never rip, and they’re a great price. And they have curvy jeans now, which honestly were the best gift I ever received when I bought those bad boys for myself. If you're not sure what kind to get, I recommend a classic 10-inch (not too low waisted, but not too high) in a solid color dark wash (see link below). Read more about my thoughts on the jeans here.
I love surprises, whether or not anyone else does. That's why I can't stand asking the question, "What do you want?" when I have to buy a gift for someone. In a desperate attempt to avoid said surprise-spoiler, I often default to checking out the gifts most added to Amazon wish lists — especially if I'm shopping for my partner, dad, brother, or guy friends. The men in my life are notoriously hard to buy for, so I like to get a little insight from other men who've got their eye (or mouse cursor) on the coolest, most innovative presents on Amazon.
Whether it's used for serving or for display, this pretty Christmas gift will brighten any kitchen. Create a colorful motif around the edges of a purchased platter with ceramic paints or porcelain paint pens, then sketch and paint a fun shape in the center. Many ceramic paints require baking to set the colors, so be sure to read the packaging instructions before you start the project. This gift is perfect for anyone looking to make their house feel a little more like home.

Instead of searching high and low for the perfect pillow, make this Christmas gift that you know your friend will love! Sketch a geometric design on a square piece of kraft paper to make a template, then trace onto fabric and cut to size. Stitch the shapes together and press the seams open. Cut solid-color fabric to make the back of the pillow covering. Stitch the front and back pieces, right sides together, leaving a small opening. Turn right side out, press, and stuff with a pillow form. Whipstitch the opening closed.

To overcome the common problem people faced as to what to give one’s spouse each year, an American author by the name of Emily Post, who wrote on the topic of etiquette, was the first to recommend a list of anniversary gift themes which was published in 1922 in her book titled 'Etiquette’. In that book, she listed suggestions for the first anniversary, followed by the fifth anniversary, and then every five years or so up until the 25th, and concluded with the 50th wedding anniversary. The American National Retail Jeweler Association expanded on this list in 1937 by filling in the missing years up to the 14th wedding anniversary, and the subsequent multiples of five up to the 50th year.
A six-panel window frame becomes a weekly calendar that makes a stylish Christmas present. Each day of the workweek is assigned a pane, and the sixth makes room for notes (or your Christmas list). To make, tape off the wood frame with painter's tape and spray several coats of magnetic spray paint on the front of the glass panes, allowing each coat to dry between applications. Paint each pane with colorful chalkboard paint using a paintbrush to edge and a small foam roller to fill in. Let dry. Remove tape from wood frame.
This absolutely adorable penguin family ornament is a perfect Christmas gift for family and close friends. The unique Christmas ornament can be personalized with three to six family member’s names, each professionally engraved. Additionally, you can choose to include any family title, last name or a short personal message in the shimmering snow on the bottom. Handcrafted using vibrant colors...
Give the gift of a hand-painted Mason jar or glass container this holiday season. They make gorgeous vases, makeup brush holders, or pencil cups. To craft this Christmas gift, paint the outside of the jars with two coats of paint. We mixed several shades of pink with white to create a range of hues, but any color scheme works. For a touch of glam, mask the top of the jar with painter's tape and cover the bottom with glitter spray paint.

There’s thin ice to tread, though. When a man is conscious of his style, he’s going to take certain gifts with a bit more doubt. This guy requires a bit of extra work to figure out his ideal style gift. If he’s not into boots, and you grab a pair of Chelsea boots for him, it’s going to feel more like, “This is what they want me to wear, not what’s in line with my style.” To avoid that, we have a section further in the guide, all about color-matching with certain skin tones, and their current wardrobe. That’s going to show some real dedication and attention to their style, while still getting something that compliments them.

Most experience events, if not all, should also have you included in the initial cost. It’s not much of an experience if they don’t have someone to go with, and if you’re a best friend or sibling, you know them intimately enough to get something they’ll truly, deeply enjoy. That’s an experience that they’ll want to share with you. The biggest mistake that experience day shoppers make, is not including themselves and running into financial problems. Just understand those experience days, on average, don’t include the cost of transit, tolls, food, drink, etc.
